The children really enjoyed the group sessions and getting to touch and hold the different sea creatures. The ranger was very good with the children and engaging when talking about the rockpool. We however didnt have the introductory talk at the beginning of the day.

The fish tank has been a wonderful opportunity to support our children’s learning.  From art, design, science, literacy and maths.  The opportunities have been endless.  The children have particularly enjoyed researching about the origins of the fish and learning about their environment.  The sustainability of the tank is another wonder to the children when they see the shrimp crawl onto the clown fishes back to clean it!! – amazing!

A fantastic look into our ‘Animal Families’ topic in Year One. The children are mesmerised by the mini aquarium and can name the varieties of fish, label the different parts and explore what they eat. A brilliant resource for the classroom.

Since the addition of an Aqualease aquarium to our waiting area, we have noticed a significant calming effect on our patients. The aquarium has also proved to be popular with the children and is a superb focal point.

Here at South Liverpool Housing we have Aqualease aquariums in our main office area, our customer reception and our Chief Executives office. All saints had considered an aquarium for the Reception area for a long time. We have now had one since June 09 and have ha many positive comments from old an young alike

Originally we decided on having an aquarium for the children. We thought it would help the children to calm down if they feel angry and to help them to relax a little. We also felt it would help some of our children who have Special Educational Needs and would be a general point of interest for them. Since having the aquarium weve found that not only does it meet our original needs (in particular those for our children with Special Eductional Needs), it has also helped the staff, as a kind of stress relief system!! I just want to say a big thank you regarding the fish tank we had installed last year. The service you provide as a company is excellent and takes away any worries we would have in maintaining the tank and welfare of the fish!

Most importantly the benefits the fish tank has given to the residents living with dementia. We have found it a useful tool in de escalating distressed reactions in residents as well as a therapeutic calming effect on those who just want to sit and watch the fish. It has also been a good topic point for conversation between residents some of whom have named the fish!

I have also found it to be a positive selling point from a marketing point of view for those people who come to view the home.
